Surgical Care
At Dental Care Associates of Waycross, Dr. Crummey has completed advanced training in many dental surgical procedures, as well as dental sedation, to help our patients maintain proper oral health.
While dental surgery is an advanced dental procedure, it is not uncommon for an adult to require surgical treatment such as tooth extraction (i.e., wisdom tooth removal), soft tissue or bone grafting, or dental implant placement within a lifetime. Our goal is to make our patients as comfortable as possible, both during the surgery and afterwards.

Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Most adults develop third molars (also known as wisdom teeth) in their teenage years. These teeth are generally not functional for biting or chewing and they are often awkwardly positioned, making them difficult to keep clean. Your dentist may recommend that the wisdom teeth be removed to prevent bacteria from accumulating, causing tooth decay or infection, which could harm other teeth.
Dental Implants
These small cylinder-shaped attachments are used to replace the roots of missing teeth. Our dentists perform dental implant procedures in the comfort of our Waycross dental office.
Dental implants may be restored with natural-looking crowns, bridges or dentures to replace missing teeth and keep your smile looking its best. Read more about Dental Implants »
Dental Sedation
Our Waycross dental practice offers oral conscious sedation and nitrous oxide sedation for patients during surgical or restorative procedures, or for patients that experience extreme anxiety when visiting the dentist. Read more about Sedation Dentistry »
